Make Stilton Great Again

Did you know cheese made in and around the city of Stilton cannot be called stilton?

The BBC reportsthat one British MP, Shailesh Vara, wants to change that.  Pointing to historical evidence suggesting that the “cheese was made [in Stilton] in the past”, and invoking Brexit as an opportunity to correct current regulations, the MP is pushing to expand the definition to the benefit of his constituency.  

It’s a small footnote in the larger Brexit conversation, for sure, but an interesting one to see play out.
