The good folks at Food Safety News flagged a fascinating report from the National Conference of State Legislatures (“NCSL”) entitled “State Milk Laws.” The 88 page document summarizes state laws pertaining to the consumption and sale of raw milk, culminating in the fascinating graphic reproduced below.

Kudos to that odd East-West consortium of states permitting consumers to purchase raw milk in retail stores. One can only hope that the rest of the country will follow close behind.
